In a 149-yard masterpiece that ultimately stood as his rookie season’s finest, the Lions’ then-playmaker opened eyes on the first drive, complementing an elusive run with a hurdle of a Washington defender for a 16-yarder. Detroit’s No. 22 — fittingly —dominance in doubles, using a wide receiver-like alignment and whip route to also spring himself free for a powerful 15-yard touchdown. The do-it-all play that Swift would become known for was in full display during a 30-27 win on Nov. 15, 2020, as he turned 16 carries into 81 yards, alongside five receptions, 68 yards, and a touchdown.
