On the final day of 2017’s calendar year, Myles Garrett — ironically — was busy showing the NFL world what the next decade of pass rushing greatness would look like. Although the single-season sack records and perennial All-Pro nods hadn’t arrived just yet, Cleveland’s one-of-one defender was a game wrecker even in Year One, as illustrated through a fierce blindside strip sack of Pittsburgh’s quarterback. The Steelers would survive in a 28-24 finish on Dec. 31, 2017, but Garrett’s presence guaranteed the Browns’ competitiveness, as he guided the defense through one sack, three tackles, a forced fumble, and a QB hit.
