A league-changing force from the moment his cleats touched the NFL’s turf, New York’s then-superstar offered a jack-of-all-trades game on Dec. 9, 2018, headlined by a speedy cutback run that rolled out the carpet for a 78-yard touchdown. Big plays for the Giants’ offense were only just beginning, though, as Barkley offered complements through 55-yard carries, physical stiff arms, and one-handed snags. Too much for Washington to handle, Barkley was both extraordinary and efficient, recording 197 yards and a score on just 18 touches.
