Of all the sequences that could’ve told the story of Minnesota’s 31-0 win over the Commanders on Dec. 7, 2025, the end-of-game play-by-play, perhaps, told it best during a 19-play, 98-yard touchdown drive that encompassed nearly a full quarter. For fans of the methodical offensive approach, the Vikings’ masterclass offered some of everything: five different third down conversions, gritty, move-the-chains runs from J.J. After the through-the-air highlights from Justin Jefferson (a 13-yarder) and Jordan Addison (a 21-yarder) left Washington’s once-unseeable endzone within view, Jordan Mason finished the job on an eight-yard misdirection scoring run. The 19-play string tied for the longest of any drive throughout the NFL’s 2025 season.
