As if Packers-Bears rivalry games weren’t already cinema enough, Dec. 7, 2025’s showdown offered a noteworthy reward for the winner: a first-place spot atop the NFC North. Green Bay’s game-winning, eight-play drive showed just how much it meant, as they overwhelmed the Bears’ defense from the get-go. Jordan Love’s 18-yard dot to Jayden Reed went promptly followed by a 21-yard carry from Josh Jacobs, who left Lambeau Field in awe, and Chicago defenders colliding into one another at once. The questioned star of the drive, Jacobs closed the deal on a 28-21 victory just moments later, pinballing through the A-gap for a physical two-yard touchdown. The win ultimately represented the Packers’ peak, allowing them the momentum needed to move to 9-3-1 during the season’s final stretch.
