From on-field routes to all-time rookie receiving leaderboards, the first two months of 2025’s NFL season will show that few hit the ground running as quickly as Tampa Bay’s Emeka Egbuka. Almost superhero-like in channeling “invisibility” during one such route on Nov. 9, 2025, the Buccaneers’ rookie outmatched New England’s revered secondary for a 21-yard touchdown play. Egbuka’s speed became a zone-beater throughout, as he used perfectly-run in-breaker routes to spring himself free for marquee plays throughout the 28-23 loss to the Patriots in Week 10.
