The future of the NFL’s quarterback position figures to be in good hands — and arms for that matter — and on Dec. 28, 2025, Tyler Shough and his fellow first-year passer left that on full showcase. Seasoned veteran-like in his poise during New Orleans’ double-digit, second-half comeback, Shough put a perfectly-placed corner dime in his Pro Bowl receiver’s gloves for a 19-yard pickup. A few drives later, with the Saints one hallmark play away from taking the lead outright, Shough turned a 2nd & Goal into celebration, connecting on a clutch, 10-yard touchdown along the opposite corner. Superb throughout December — with a 4-0 record and 102.9 passer rating as proof — Shough was nearly perfect in the 34-26 win over the Tennessee Titans, tossing for 333 yards (on 22-of-27) and three touchdowns.
