The Seahawks’ pass rush in Super Bowl LX was both unstoppable and unmatched in the NFL’s history books, and as the record showed, everything began with a tone-setting play courtesy of Derick Hall. Forceful in welcoming New England’s rookie left tackle to football’s grandest stage, Hall turned an across-the-field chase of the quarterback into a swift backfield sack to prompt an early-game second-and-long. Hall’s game-changing highlight sequences were only just beginning, though, as he returned a few quarters later for a strip sack that afforded Seattle’s offense fortuitous field position. Hall’s timing for his career’s second two-sack game couldn’t have been any more perfect, and he joined it alongside two TFLs and a forced fumble in the 29-13 win over the Patriots on Feb. 8, 2026.
