A faceoff against a defense allowing the NFL’s fewest passing yards per game (149.1) might’ve been enough to make some quarterbacks flinch; by Nov. 2, 2025’s end, it could be confirmed that Drake Maye wasn’t among that list. In one of the great tests of his Most Valuable Player-caliber campaign, Maye passed with flying colors — literally and figuratively — unlocking the Patriots’ offense with 58-yard downfield dots and early-game touchdowns alike. The 24-23 victory over the Atlanta Falcons signified a highly-competitive game, and through it all, New England’s star quarterback remained poised, as evidenced by a 259-yard finish (on 19-of-29), alongside two touchdowns and 20 rushing yards.
