A showdown against the NFL’s only defense to record more interceptions than touchdowns allowed certainly might’ve been difficult for some, but as is often the case, George Pickens wasn’t one to back down. The clash between the Cowboys and Chargers lived up to its fast-paced, back-and-forth billing throughout the opening half, and Pickens offered a great contribution through his 38-yard endzone reception to put Dallas ahead. Los Angeles’ unanswerable run throughout the second half ultimately encouraged a 34-17 result, but even in defeat, Pickens was nothing short of star-like on Dec. 21, 2025, as he tallied seven receptions for 130 yards and a score.
