Dec. 28, 2025’s afternoon was already guaranteed to be a memorable one for Trey McBride, but with the red zone only a few yards away, Arizona’s superstar knew of the perfect way to put a cherry on top. On a final-minute 4th & 5, the Cardinals wisely turned to their sure-handed Pro Bowler, and the results were predictably successful, as McBride went airborne to collect an 18-yard touchdown reception through traffic. Victory belonged to the Cincinnati Bengals, but regardless of the 37-14 result, the fourth-year talent was nothing short of historic. Alongside a 10-catch, 76-yard, one-score outing, McBride entered the NFL’s history books with a single-season record for the most receptions (117) by a tight end.
