Time certainly wasn’t the 49ers’ friend, as they worked to pull themselves out of a double-digit second half hole, but on a must-convert 3rd & 9, such constraints were no problem for Brock Purdy’s quick feet. One step ahead of Seattle’s fierce pass rush on this occasion, Purdy worked a nifty spin, repositioning himself to set his stance for a 19-yard, downfield connection. The play — temporarily breathing life into San Francisco’s comeback hopes — served as the evening’s longest offensive play in the 41-6 loss to the Seahawks on Jan. 17, 2026. Such results weren’t ideal, but Purdy was nonetheless noteworthy, totalling 177 total yards of offense by game’s end.
