For anyone interested in observing what it looks like when a player enters “takeover mode” on the less glamorous, defensive side of the ball, Jaquan Brisker had them covered during Chicago’s Divisional Round showcase on Jan. 18, 2026. During a quick, six-play Rams drive in the second quarter, Brisker miraculously made five different plays — four tackles and one pass breakup — headlined by a swift around-the-edge pass rush and a tone-setting sack on 1st & 10. The box scores, of course, captured all of Brisker’s greatness, as he starred in the Bears’ 20-17 loss to Los Angeles through a game-best 14 tackles (including one TFL), one sack, and two passes defended.
