The pressure might’ve loomed large as Chicago found themselves challenged by a late-game, third-and-long scenario, but as fate would have it, it wasn’t anything Rome Odunze’s 6-foot-3 frame couldn’t handle. Precise enough in his route to fit perfectly in between the Rams’ two-defender zone defense, Odunze demonstrated his clutch gene, leaping skyward to secure a 17-yard chain-mover. The Los Angeles Rams’ veteran savvy and late-game execution eventually won out in a 20-17 result, but Odunze’s crunchtime catch allowed the Windy City faithful to breathe a temporary sigh of relief.
