Saquon Barkley’s box scores throughout the month of December told the story of a running back beginning to round into postseason form, and during Jan. 11, 2026’s Wild Card Weekend, Philadelphia’s superstar didn’t miss a beat. Locating holes and making plays throughout the evening, Barkley enjoyed one such early-game cutback run against San Francisco in which he broke free for 29 yards, positioning the Eagles for a touchdown drive just plays later. The 23-19 loss to the 49ers certainly wasn’t ideal, but Barkley was spectacular nonetheless, turning 29 touches into 135 yards. Such a performance also allowed Barkley to become the franchise’s all-time postseason rushing leader (605 yards in five playoff games).
