In a “time capsule”-like game that will likely go down as one of his Hall of Fame-caliber career’s best games, Allen overwhelmed the Buccaneers with some of everything, starting with a 43-yard touchdown slingshot to his downfield receiver. The magical afternoon also included 25-yard touchdown strikes and a nine-yard, do-it-himself touchdown tote that extinguished Tampa Bay for good. The final box score? Three passing touchdowns and three rushing touchdowns — something that had only been done once, and not since 1954 — alongside 357 yards of total offense during the Bills’ 44-32 win.
