Patriots supporters — and NFL aficionados alike — were often united in thinking that, when opportunities for TreVeyon Henderson to earn more touches came out, highlights and gaudy box scores would inevitably follow closely behind. Proving those theories correct during his midseason takeover of New England’s backfield, Henderson enjoyed a one-of-a-kind performance on Thursday Night Football, overwhelming the Jets during a three-touchdown statement. Henderson put well-documented versatility on display, first by torpedoing through traffic on a seven-yard, pile-pushing touchdown, quickly followed by another minutes later. The cherry on top arrived in the third frame, as Henderson used a creative out-of-the-backfield route to complete the touchdown trifecta, emphatically stamping what became a 24-touch, 93-yard, three-score masterpiece, and a 27-14 victory over New York on Nov. 13, 2025.
