Prior to taking Week 9’s Monday Night Football stage, many within the Cardinals’ locker room had gone on record saying that Arizona was a better team than their record showed. Proving that statement to be true on Nov. 3, 2025, longtime sack specialist Josh Sweat announced his presence with an early-game takedown of Dallas’ quarterback, halting their momentum on 4th & 4 for a turnover on downs. Sweat’s score-saving play became one of many brilliant sequences for Arizona’s defense, as they overwhelmed the Cowboys for a 27-17 victory. Primetime’s bright lights encouraged one of Sweat’s best career games, as he tallied two sacks — his eighth-career multi-sack game — alongside a whopping five QB hits and a pass defensed.
