Even when opposing defenses assume they’ve got Detroit’s offense figured out, history shows that a big-time throw from Jared Goff is often just one dropback away. In need of some late-game magic with the Lions behind by double figures, Goff put arm talent on showcase against Minnesota, putting a left-sideline pass on a rope to position his speedy wideout for a 37-yard catch-and-dive touchdown. The Vikings ultimately prevailed in a 27-24 win on Nov. 2, 2025, but Goff’s penchant for highlight plays was notable nonetheless, as he recorded 284 yards (on 25-of-37), alongside two touchdowns and a 108.4 quarterback passer rating.
