Interceptions and eye-opening acts of athletic brilliance happen on a week-to-week basis in the NFL, but even those plays would have a difficult time rivaling what Seattle’s Ty Okada produced on Nov. 2, 2025. Unwilling to allow Washington’s moonball-like downfield pass attempt to merely sail out of bounds, Okada put his 40½-inch vertical leap to the test, soaring skyward for an acrobatic, through-traffic interception — his career’s first — on Sunday Night Football. The evening became one to remember for the Seahawks, as they cruised to a dominant 38-14 road triumph over the Commanders, and Okada played his part through a five-tackle, one-pick showing.
