Combating the Buccaneers’ fiery pass rush by bringing a composed coolness of his own, Darnold held steady through traffic before slinging a left-sideline dime through the air for a 21-yard, go-ahead touchdown pass. The touchdown was one of many during the Seahawks’ 38-35 loss on Oct. 5, 2025, as Darnold was a near-perfect 28-of-34 for 341 yards and a touchdown, giving him the fourth-best single-game passer rating (135.4) of his 88-game career to date.
