If great players are to be defined by what they do in high-profile games, Nik Bonitto confirmed himself to be something truly remarkable after his performance against the NFL’s reigning titleholders on Oct. 5, 2025. Showing the league’s defending champions that he, too, knew a thing or two about defense, Bonitto sparked the Broncos’ eventual comeback through a physical takedown of Philadelphia’s star quarterback on 3rd & 15. The play, in some ways, became a turning point, as Denver turned the two-touchdown deficit into a signature 21-17 win over the Eagles.
