Greatness on the ground for Saquon Barkley is always more of a matter of “when” than “if,” but as defenses have learned, Philadelphia’s superstar running back is just as capable of creating a must-see through the air. Too speedy for Denver’s linebacker to match step-for-step during his “wheel route” down the right sideline, Barkley parlayed the opportunity into a 47-yard touchdown reception, giving the Eagles a two-touchdown second-half lead in the process. The Broncos’ roaring comeback took centerstage on Oct. 5, 2025, as they dealt the NFL’s reigning champions a 21-17 defeat, but Week 5 was memorable for Barkley nonetheless, as he turned in an efficient nine-catch, 88-yard, one-score afternoon.
