In situations that require a Bengals defender to make a heroic stop, there’s one four-time Pro Bowl presence that seems to always ready himself for the occasion: Trey Hendrickson. Week 5’s head-to-head against the Lions appeared to be quickly getting away from Cincinnati, with Detroit eyeing back-to-back game-opening scores, only for Hendrickson to introduce himself through a swift pass rush from the blindside, followed by a strip sack. The Lions’ firepower inevitably won out during a 37-24 win on Oct. 5, 2025, but Hendrickson’s excellence couldn’t be ignored, as he paired a two-sack effort — and the forced fumble — alongside two tackles.
