Known for running nearly-identical plays until opponents commit to stopping it, the Eagles' offense turned to Goedert for back-to-back first half touchdowns — both on read-and-react shovel passes — that helped introduce a three-score lead against the Buccaneers. Tampa Bay’s trademark comeback bid was a ferocious one, but Goedert’s excellence gave the reigning champions enough comfort to secure a 31-25 win. Starring in the receiving column, the veteran tight end enjoyed a four-catch, 37-yard, two-touchdown showcase.
