After flashing occasional glimpses of his physical, difficult-to-bring-down running style over the season’s first three weeks, Omarion Hampton ramped things up a notch or five against the Giants in Week 4. Taking advantage of his unquestioned alpha dog status in Los Angeles’ backfield, the Chargers’ first-round talent was a literal boulder rolling downhill against New York’s defense, overwhelming them with 54-yard breakaway touchdown carries, alongside additional must-see runs in complement. The new-look Giants would prevail, but even in a 21-18 loss, Hampton turned Sept. 28, 2025 into his breakout afternoon, turning 17 touches into 165 yards and a score.
