Theoretically speaking, Matthew Golden’s almost-unmatched speed seemed to have the potential to be a match made heaven alongside Green Bay’s rocket-armed quarterback when imagining “perfect fits” in the 2025 NFL Draft. Putting that dream connection on display against Dallas’ secondary on Sunday Night Football, Golden — recording a reception of 30+ yards in back-to-back weeks — showcased concentration through traffic on a 46-yard pickup. The Packers and Cowboys went back-and-forth during a 40-40 tie on Sept. 28, 2025, and as one of the many highlight creators in the high-scoring affair, Golden recorded five catches (on six targets) for 58 yards.
