The historic, 151-tackle, five-forced-fumble breakout in 2024 made Philadelphia’s Zack Baun virtually unmissable on lists that ranked the NFL’s best linebackers; during Week 3, though, Baun confirmed that from time-to-time, he still knew how to channel invisibility when needed. Deceptively quick in his ability to break on Los Angeles’ short pass attempt, Baun crashed the Rams’ Pro Bowl passing party, setting Sept. 21, 2025’s tone with an opening-drive interception. Defensive brilliance at much-needed times became the Eagles’ forte during a 33-26 win; Baun played his role perfectly, accompanying the interception with seven tackles and two passes defended.
