It wouldn’t have been bold to imagine the league’s last two Most Valuable Players putting on a show during Sunday Night Football’s season kickoff, but after Sept. 7, 2025’s comeback win, one could argue that Josh Allen went above and beyond. Unphased, even as Buffalo’s win probability dipped to as low as 0.9 percent in the second half’s late phase, Allen was extraordinary, dealing out both playground-style, improvisational passes and dominance on both ground and air throughout. Heroic in helping the Bills overcome a 15-point deficit in the final four minutes, Allen guided a 41-40 win over the Baltimore Ravens by going 33-of-46 for 394 yards and two touchdowns, alongside 30 rushing yards and two additional scores.
