Needing only the regular-season’s second week to begin bordering on brilliance, Odunze turned a crossing route against Detroit’s defense into a must-see, freeing himself before using a catch-and-run — and a shifty juke — to set his path for a 28-yard score. Rapidly becoming Chicago’s trusted big-play creator, Odunze enjoyed career-bests almost across the board through a seven-catch, 128-yard, two-touchdown masterpiece in a 52-21 loss to the Lions on Sept. 14, 2025.
