Accepting the challenge — all the while admitting to having additional motivation — Rodgers presented highlight-after-highlight on Sept. 7, 2025, none more notable than a two-touchdowns-in-50-seconds sequence, helping the Steelers turn a nine-point deficit into a fourth quarter lead. The former four-time Most Valuable Player was extraordinary in the 34-32 win over the mettlesome New York Jets, as he lit up Week 1’s scoreboard with 244 passing yards (on 22-of-30), alongside four touchdowns and a 136.7 quarterback passer rating.
