After rumbling past defenders and becoming a Heisman-winning staple in Ohio in the mid-1990s, Eddie George returned to his old stomping grounds on Dec. 17, 2000, eager to find that, other than his Titans uniform, very little had changed. Armored with a running style tailor-made for Week 15’s snowfall-filled, 21-degree afternoon, George saved the best of his multi-score masterclass for last, working cutbacks, jukes, and impeccable vision on the way to a game-clinching 35-yard score. Knowing the playoffs — and, thus, a could-be Super Bowl return — to be around the corner, George wasn’t one for suspense during the 24-0 win over the Cleveland Browns, as he bouldered his way into a 35-touch, 176-yard, three-touchdown display.
