Finding the “change of pace” runner within Tennessee's backfield on Oct. 19, 2008 would’ve been quite the task, considering Chris Johnson and his teammates had only one speed in mind: too quick for Kansas City. One-half of a two-player platoon that combined for a 35-carry, 317-yard, four-touchdown afternoon, “CJ2K” offered his contributions as only he could, evading two early could-be tackles on a misdirection run before leaving smoke at his cleats during a 66-yard touchdown. Performances from the Titans’ tailbacks — accurately nicknamed “Smash and Dash” — told the tale of the 34-10 win over the Chiefs, with Johnson blessing the box scores with 20 touches, 172 yards, and one touchdown.
