Moving chains on command and shouldering his way into every yard possible made Eddie George a legend in Tennessee by Year Five, but on Jan. 16, 2000, the Titans' tailback had something greater in mind: his NFL career’s second-longest run. Eager to quiet the Colts’ rowdy crowd during the AFC Divisional Round, George imposed his will almost immediately after halftime, turning his go-to counter run into a game-changing 68-yard touchdown. George’s carry afforded Tennessee a lead it would never again relinquish, as they stamped their AFC Title ticket through a 19-16 win; in typical workhorse-like form, No. 27 closed the afternoon with 176 yards and a touchdown across 29 touches.
