Late in a hard-fought, midseason battle between the Vikings and Colts, the Minnesota offense found itself with solid field position and a four-point lead to try to grow. Over the course of just over three minutes, they marched down the field methodically, picking up a handful of first downs before quarterback Sam Darnold hit tight end Josh Oliver for a 14-yard score to extend their lead. The scoring drive would prove to be the decisive blow in this one, as they defeated Indianapolis, 21-13, on Nov. 3, 2024, to improve to 6-2 on the season.
