One of the fastest players in the NFL delivered what would prove to be the winning score after the opposing Commanders had cut the Dallas lead to three points, scooping up the loose ball on the kickoff at the one-yard line after initially mishandling the kick, scanning the horde of oncoming would-be tacklers for an opening, and then creating one himself with a ridiculous spin move that sent the NFL world into a frenzy. Suddenly finding himself with plenty of open space, Turpin turned on the jets, flying down the field for an unforgettable 99-yard touchdown that extended the Cowboys' lead back to double digits. After two more chaotic minutes that saw Washington cut the lead back to one before Dallas put the game away for good, the Cowboys eventually found themselves victorious, winning this instant-classic 34-26 on Nov. 24, 2024.
