Beginning to string together the downfield plays needed to fuel its Week 7 comeback bid, the New England Patriots knew that in all likelihood, the budding connection between Kayshon Boutte and his first-year quarterback would surface at some point. Picking quite the ideal time, Boutte, attaining both leverage and a step on the Jaguars’ defensive back, made the most of his deep-ball opportunity, collecting a contested 33-yarder, setting up a touchdown and one-score deficit just four plays later. Jacksonville would eventually survive for a 32-16 win on Oct. 20, 2024, but the second-year receiver offered a splash nonetheless through a one-catch, 33-yard offering.
