Having already commanded the respect of the opposition’s secondary following a 41-yard touchdown strike in the prior quarter, Dyami Brown decided that his afternoon’s already-impressive highlight reel — just like the opponents attempting to slow him — was missing a little something. Using that straight-line speed to his advantage on a well-timed hitch route, Brown, in a single motion, snagged a pass and shook free of a would-be tackler before working a series of stutter steps to carve out a 15-yard gain. Brown dazzled in the Washington Commanders’ 34-13 win over the Cleveland Browns, collecting two receptions for 57 yards (his career’s second-highest yardage total to date), and a touchdown on Oct. 6, 2024.
