Often targeted and considered during an afternoon that offered 12 targets in his direction, Stefon Diggs found it only right to showcase his ability as a passer, too, during a second quarter trick play. Utilized in every way imaginable within Houston’s offense, Diggs — who appropriately recorded his first-ever touchdown run one week later — motioned inward, selling the idea of a screen reception before floating an across-the-field pass to a teammate for a 13-yard pickup. The Texans’ trickery couldn’t conquer the Minnesota Vikings during a 34-7 loss on Sept. 22, 2024, but Diggs kept productive against his former team anyways, capturing 10 receptions for 94 yards, alongside a perfect one-of-one for 13 yards through the air.
