In his second career game, rookie Saints cornerback Kool-Aid McKinstry showed off his ability to stay cool when Plan A doesn't work out. Making a great read and getting himself in position to bring the receiver down for no gain, McKinstry's initial tackle attempt flung the ball-carrier back a couple yards, but he didn't get him down. Quickly hopping back up, McKinstry went right back to it, joining a teammate to deliver the final blow that brought the receiver down for a loss. He went on to tally five tackles and one pass defended in this one, as the Saints handily beat Dallas, 44-19, on Sept. 15, 2024.
