With Washington trailing by a touchdown as time dwindled away in the second quarter of this Divisional Round matchup in Chicago, quarterback Doug Williams dropped back to pass, saw that the pass rush had broken through the line, and fired a ball off his back foot downfield to his receiver. The pass was caught by the open man, who trotted into the end zone for the score. Williams would go on to throw for 207 yards in this one with this one score, as Washington defeated the Bears, 21-17, on Jan. 10, 1988.
