17 - 23
(Nov 10, 1985 · Week 10)
After a rollercoaster of a game resulted in the Eagles and Falcons being tied at 17 at the end of regulation, Philadelphia quarterback Ron Jaworski and the rest of the Eagles offense found themselves in a dangerous position to start this overtime drive: at their own one-yard line. Despite the challenging field position, Jaworski took the snap and dropped back to pass, looked right, and fired a ball that way. The pass was placed perfectly between two defenders to hit the receiver in stride, and he was immediately off to the races, sprinting the whole length of the field for a walk-off, game-winning 99-yard score. Jaworski threw for a total of 258 yards and one touchdown in this one, and also added one score on the ground, as the Eagles beat the Falcons in overtime, 23-17, on Nov. 10, 1985.
