With the game on the line, Cowboys safety Jayron Kearse made a massive play to keep his team in the lead. With Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence scrambling down the field, Kearse made contact with the ball as Lawrence tried to avoid his tackle, knocking it loose for the fumble, which was recovered by teammate Micah Parsons. Kearse's big day included seven total tackles, one of which went for a loss, one pass defended, and this forced fumble, but the Cowboys eventually fell to the Jaguars, 40-34, in overtime on Dec. 18, 2022.
