(Jan 19, 2014 · Week 20)
On one of the most iconic defensive plays in NFL playoff history, Richard Sherman was matched up in single coverage along the near sideline as Seattle tried to hold onto a six-point lead with under a minute to play. Step-for-step on a fade to the back corner of the end zone, Sherman rose up and batted the ball away from the receiver and into the arms of a teammate trailing the play for the interception to halt the San Francisco drive and slam the door on the 49ers' comeback attempt. The play sealed a 23-17 Seahawks victory on Jan. 19, 2014 and vaulted Seattle into Super Bowl XLVIII.
